MIKE WATTERS

Mike joined Pri-Tec as a Superintendent in 2005, after receiving a diploma in Architectural Technology from Algonquin College.  Mike also earned his designation through OACETT as an Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.) and is an Intern with the Gold Seal Certification through the Canadian Construction Association.  Mike has developed into a top project manager and has become the President of Construction.  The success of Pri-Tec is based on Mike’s personal commitment to providing the absolute best in construction quality and service.

 

 

 

Vice-President, Finance

IAN GILLEN

Ian joined Pri-Tec in 1997 as the Accounting Manager, bringing over 24 years of combined housing and commercial construction experience.  Ian has grown with the company, becoming the Vice-President of Finance in 2002, giving broad oversight to the Pri-Tec team.

CHRIS LYTLE

Chris is a Site Superintendent with Pri-Tec with 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Chris has a verifiable track record for the successful scheduled completion of various projects through coordinating trades, developing partnerships and building positive rapport with clients, trades and suppliers.

 

Office Administrator

Donna O’Grady

 

Donna joined Pri-Tec as an Office Administrator in 2015, with over 30 years’ experience in the office environment.  Donna’s knowledge in coordinating all office activities and operations has been invaluable to Pri-Tec.  Donna is the organizational strength of the company who is thankfully counted on to do her part.

PETER WILLEMSEN

Peter joined Pri-Tec as a Project Estimator in 1984 after earning a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.  Peter rose quickly, becoming a partner and owner in 1989 and was named President in 1995.  Through the years, Peter’s commitment to Pri-Tec has been instrumental in the success of the company.  Peter has made many alliances within the construction industry and is highly respected by his peers and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Pri-Tec.

Founder

Richard Lalande

Richard founded Pri-Tec in 1972  as a dynamic, personable and energetic leader. After receiving his B.A. from Carleton University he continued in the Town Planning and Industrial Location Theories Masters Program. Richard was one of the pioneers who initiated the Canadian Construction Association Special Gold Seal Certification Program and is a member. Richard is on the Board of Directors for Pri-Tec and is a member of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise (CAFÉ, Ottawa) and other business association groups.

Property Manager

CHANTAL HOSPODAR

As a member of the founding family, Chantal has spent a great deal of time at the side of her father and mentor.  From a young age, Chantal gained experience in all aspects of Construction Management.  Her education at the University of Dalhousie provided her with many valuable business skills.
